Electric arc welding with a mixture of argon gas and carbon dioxide

Training Course Objective:

The aim of this training course is to enhance the skills of welders in performing various welding operations using Argon, Carbon Dioxide, and gas mixtures. Additionally, the course aims to provide participants with advanced technical information.

Course Content:

- Safety and precautions in welding and thermal cutting operations.

- Identification of metals and alloys and the impact of different elements on welding joints.

- Types of welds used in specific metals and alloys.

- Selection of wires, rods, fluxes, and gases used in welding operations, along with the correct gas blending ratios for each metal or alloy using gas mixing devices or blended cylinders.

- Welding with Carbon Dioxide (MIG-MAG) and gas mixture (CO₂).

- Welding using inert gases (Argon-Helium) and mixture, with the selection and adjustment of current in continuous welding operations (DC or AC) for specific metals and alloys (H.F - AC) High-frequency.

- Scientific principles for selecting and preparing welding joints.

- Welding in different positions.

- Welding defects, their causes, detection methods, and treatment.

- Reading engineering drawings and using welding symbols.
